Description

This organic dairy farm has 30+ Jersey/Holstein cross cattle which are pastured daily and supplemented with grain and dry hay. The farm store is located across from the main farm house on Huff Road, open 7 am-7 pm every day. They make and sell “Alderney” their signature artisan raw cow milk cheese. Other products available: grassfed beef, pork and free-range chicken, wood-fired maple syrup and farm hand soaps. No official tours, but farmer and partner will gladly show visitors around and answer questions. Raw milk Alderney cheese is also sold at the Andes Farmers Market, open Saturdays 10 am-3 pm (May thru Nov), Good Cheap Food in Delhi, NY, Cheese Louise in Kingston, NY and Cheese Please in Cranford, NJ.
