Array of foods from various providers include raw milk, cream, and other raw dairy products; organic grassfed beef and pork; pastured chickens and eggs; raw honey and bee pollen; and organic produce in the summer months, all from local, independent, organic farmers. This small family farm keeps Jersey cows for a herdshare program. Underground cheese is also made here by the teenage girls. They raise some chickens, feeder pigs, and beef for freezer meat and for fun. Just 3 miles off I-96 but out in the country.

Sixth generation dairy in West Michigan raising Organic Jersey cows for their herdshare program. The cows are grass fed only and receive no grain. You can fill your own jars at the farm on a weekly basis. They also make aged, raw milk cheeses including Gouda and Cheddar, and raise pork, chicken, and beef that is available in the on-farm store. Facebook: NaturalHomestead. The Coopers have a small herd of Nubian and Nubian/Saanen cross dairy goats. Raised on rotational pasture or grass based non-GMO diet. They restrict the use of chemicals. Goats are hand-milked by the Cooper family. Located eight miles northeast of Lake City with weekly drops in Lake City and Cadillac offered. Farm visits are encouraged - scheduling is requested. Full herdshare; one-time fee of $40 and a monthly fee of $40 will entitle you to 1/7th of a doe's milk and manure. This should average about a gallon a week of milk. Half shares are available.
