Farmer statement: "We have plenty of extra nutritious milk from our Brown Swiss family milk cow. Her diet is all forage, no grain, and she has access to free-choice minerals. During the growing season, she is rotationally grazed, and during the other months she enjoys all-she-can eat grass hay and alfalfa (tested to ensure nutritional quality). Milk is priced at $10/gallon. We are happy to share our milking process and cleaning procedures.
Flexible pickup is at our property located between New Ulm and Sleepy Eye. Please plan to bring your own wide mouth/half gallon Mason jars. For the first pickup, customers will need double the jars, since the empty ones will be left behind for us to refill for the next pickup. Then jars are just switched out during each subsequent pickup.
