Oct 2022 UPDATE: This farm is looking for someone to lease and take over the farm as the farmer can no longer milk for health reasons. Meanwhile, when you call to ask about raw milk they will direct you to their Amish friends who do non-GMO,  chemical- and synthetic-free milk products.

Farm raises Jersey/Guernsey, Holstein, Brown Swiss cross milk cows; Nubian, Alpine cross milk goats; Yorkshire cross pigs; and free-range chicken (eggs available too). All grain used is non-GMO. They free-feed sea kelp and have it included with their feed mixture; no synthetic mineral or vitamins are added. Cowshares, goatshares, and meats for sale at the farm or drop off. Farm store hours are 10 am - 6 pm (no Sunday sales), or by appointment. They also offer classes in backyard beekeeping and goat/cow milk soap making. Tours are available and they encourage visits by school classes. The farm also raises Certified Naturally Grown (naturallygrown.org) heirloom vegetables and this year will be growing fresh vegetables year around. You can buy their fresh vegetables at the Cadillac Farmers Market on Tuesdays and Fridays.

This small family farm offers A2/A2 raw milk herd shares from cows that are raised on pasture with minimal Non-GMO grain. In the winter they are fed a diet of dry hay. The farm also offers pasture-raised, non-GMO eggs, chicken, and pork. Call them to sign up for a herd share. They offer pickup points at the farm and in Dover and Canton.

Raising Nigerian Dwarf goats in a natural setting using a rotational pasture system similar to Polyface Farm in Swoope. They offer goat milk gelato, a variety of goat milk cheeses, goat milk for pets and a goatshare program. Farm store hours are posted and updated on website. They currently sell at Staunton Farmers Market and have an upcoming guest spot at the Charlottesville market, hoping to make a more regular presence there. Armagh Creamery is a Certified Organic, Grade A retail raw dairy and creamery selling raw milk, cream-top yogurt, and soft-ripened cheese. They raise Jersey cows on green pastures, free of GMOs, pesticides, and antibiotics. Raw milk is sold exclusively through the Armagh Creamery Club subscription program and available for pickup at select locations in North/Central Texas. Cheese and yogurt are sold through the Creamery Club as well as various retailers throughout the state including Central Market, Sprouts, and Whole Foods.

Facebook: Auburnlea Farms. Specializing in raw milk herdshares, their herd of certified Jerseys are 100 percent grassfed. The cows never receive grains, growth hormones, or prophylactic antibiotics. If treatment becomes necessary, due to infection or illness, the farmers have experienced success in utilizing natural remedies as treatment. Each share is: $100 one-time purchase, $30 each month, 1 gallon of fresh milk each week. On farm pickup is available. 9 am - 5 pm, they also deliver to the Lynchburg Community Market in downtown Lynchburg Wed.-Sat. 9 am- 2 pm.
