Facebook: hopehavenfarmsllc. At Hope Haven Farms, they feature a breed of goat combining the sweet milk of the Kinder goat, the udder size of the Saanen and the parasite resistance of the Kiko. They are beginning to see the results in their herd. Grade A raw goat milk is currently available for purchase at the farm M-F 4-7 pm or at the Tanger Outlets, North Charleston farmers market every Saturday. Every Sunday afternoon the farm is open to visitors or by appointment. Goat snuggling and petting area is $5/person. They also offer goat cheeses, free-range chicken eggs and the rare, gourmet ‘chocolate' eggs from French Maren chickens. Located near the Francis Biedler Forest in upper Dorchester County, SC. 15 minutes N of Summerville, 45 minutes N of Charleston, 90 minutes S of Columbia.
