Milk may be picked up at the farm in plastic jugs or you may bring your own glass containers if you prefer. Cow herdshare buy-in prices are $25 and goat buy-in prices are $15. Jersey Bell Farm milks several Jersey cows that are 100 percent grassfed. The cows get free choice minerals and graze on pasture in the warmer months. No hormone or antibiotics used, and cows are A2 certified. Milk is $8/gallon $4/half gallon with a jar deposit of $3 for half gallon glass jars and $4 deposit for one gallon glass jars and plastic jugs for $7/gallon. Free range eggs and raw milk are self-serve at stand Mon.-Sat. 8 am-8 pm, but customers are welcome to come to the barn and visit the cows. No Sunday sales. Milk from Mary Beth, an A2/A2 Jersey. She is pastured with her calf Henri, best friend Clara Bell (a miniature Jersey) and a couple of sheep. Little Lane Farm is not certified organic but does follow organic practices. Animals are pasture fed with some grain provided at milking. A closed milking machine system is used.
