AK Mountain View Family Farm provides raw cow’s milk through a private herdshare program to their local community in Fairbanks and surrounding areas. Cows are fed hay and supplemental grains.

The farm also offers a variety of seasonal products, which may include:

• Raw cream, butter, yogurt, and sour cream (when available)
• Eggs
• Local meats (beef & pork)
• Honey and other homestead goods

Farmer's statement: "Our farm is family-owned and operated, and our animals are cared for with integrity, transparency, and love—365 days a year, even through Alaska’s toughest winters.

"Our cows are raised in low-stress conditions with plenty of fresh air, clean bedding, and daily hands-on care. They are fed a carefully balanced, high-quality diet that includes premium hay and supplemental grains as needed for optimal health and milk quality. Animal wellness is a top priority, and we follow strict sanitation practices in our milking process to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Our milk is lab tested to ensure safety."

Farmer statement: "Located in Essex, NY, our diversified farm encompasses nearly 170 acres of tillable and forested land that was acquired through conservation partnerships and a 75 acre lease of the Sayre Family Farm. Nestled between Sprig and Whipple Mountains, Echo Farm originated as a diversified homestead and dairy operation, and has earned its name from the distantly reverberating sounds of life on the farm.

"Regardless of the diversity of crops, our practices remain consistent with the philosophies and values of organic and sustainable small-scale farming. Our cows are born and bred here on the farm with access to grass year round. Our pigs & chickens are fed a custom organic multigrain mix and have consistent access to pasture three seasons of the year. Many of our livestock come from heritage breeds. We never use chemical fertilizers, synthetic pesticides or antibiotics in producing any of the food."

Milking Nubian goats that are fed alfalfa and grass hay, a little grain during milking, plus free-access to minerals and vitamins. No hormones administered. Mountain Meadows is a 100 percent grass-fed operation. They offer organic, raw A2/A2 dairy products from Jersey cows.

These include: raw milk, butter, heavy cream, a variety of cow cheeses (cream cheese, cheddar, gouda, garlic dill, feta, farmers, pepper, Swiss, Colby, herb Colby), yoghurt, colostrum, sour cream (upon request), buttermilk (upon request), ice cream, and kefir.

They also offer sheep’s milk, along with feta and cheddar cheeses made from the milk of their own flock.

A variety of other foods are available, all of which are free from chemicals, antibiotics, and soy. These include: pastured organic, corn and soy-free eggs, maple syrup, soaps, raw honey, and Einkorn wheat (whole or ground). Please inquire regarding the current range of products available.

Call in advance to inquire about the quantity available of the following products: 100% grass-fed beef (hamburgers, short ribs, steak, roasts, ground beef, etc.), pastured chicken (breast, whole chicken, wings, liver, etc.), and pastured pork (sausage, bacon, pork chops, etc.) Animals are humanely raised and truly pastured.
