Raw milk cheeses made with milk from their pastured, mixed-breed herd of Holsteins, Brown Swiss, Guernseys, Jerseys and Milking Shorthorns. Cheese varieties include farmstead (regular and sharp), gouda (plain, caraway, cumin, jalapeno, fine herbes, peppercorn, smoked), Mutschli (a recipe from the mountains of Switzerland). Farm store hours are Mon-Sat 10 am-6 pm. "Raw goat milk from Alpine and Lamancha dairy goats. The goats are maintained close to our home, where they are milked twice daily with sanitized automatic milking equipment. The milk is immediately filtered into a refrigerated storage tank to cool the milk quickly to maintain the highest level of quality. Milk is bottled "ice-cold" in recyclable quartz glass bottles with a disposable tamper-proof cap. Milk is $7/quart with a one-time $3/bottle deposit. We guarantee 21 days freshness on all our milk. We also produce chèvre cheese, feta in brine, feta marinated in olive oil with herbs, ricotta cheese, kefir, kefir cheese, buttermilk, and creme fraiche. We are a herdshare - more information on our website. Farm store hours are 10 am to 6 pm Monday - Friday, and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. Please call or text to make an appointment. We are in the foothills just north of Silverton, OR, about 15 miles east of Salem, OR. Tours are available for first-time buyers."
