They raise registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. They are pasture raised, with daily alfalfa, and a 16 percent dairy goat ration locally sourced from an Amish feed mill about 10 miles away. They are not Organic or non-GMO/soy free. They are raised as natural as possible. Milking season starts mid to late April until late October/early November. If before or after this time, call anyway and get on the list. Call to place order and arrange pickup/delivery. If using email or Facebook messenger please leave order and phone number for call back, all orders must be confirmed by phone. Raw goat milk: $5/half gallon, $10/gallon; $5-$12 container deposit. Cage=free eggs: $3.00/dozen. They offer farm tours by appointment only. SBF&F will be at the Orr Street Farmers' and Artisans' Market (126 N 10th St. Columbia, MO 65201) starting 4-28-19 @ 9am. This season's kids will be there for a meet and greet as well. Milk orders can be picked up after the market closes at 1pm. Small goat farm with Nubian goats, operated as an educational farm with the opportunity for people to become shareholders so they can get access to products that are available to shareholders and owners only. Goats free graze all day every day with molasses licks placed around the farm, supplemented with alfalfa, moringa, and sudangrass when needed. They are also given a small amount of sweet feed during milking to make them content. The farm hosts a farmers market on some Saturdays from 8am-4pm, weather permitting.
