Zebulon Heritage Farm raises and milks Jersey cows. The cows are on pasture 24/7. They receive a small amount of grain if they need it to maintain healthy body condition and steady milk supply. They receive no hormones. The milk is regularly tested to assure quality and cleanliness, and provided in glass half gallon jars with plastic lids. Share members need to pay an initial deposit on the jars. Shares are available for a one time refundable fee of $20 per share. The monthly boarding fee comes to $5.07/gallon when delivered locally and $6/gallon when delivered in Rogersville.
