They produce their own feed and manage rotational pastures with controlled plantings alongside wild forage and browse. Maintenance of herd health is of utmost importance with minimal use of chemicals, however it is sometimes necessary. No milk is retained or sold from any doe that has been treated with any chemical. Fresh and frozen whole, unpasteurized raw goat milk (average four percent + butterfat) is available by the half-gallon and gallon in FDA-approved plastic milk jugs. Chevre (plain and in a variety of flavors) and Fromage Blanc cheeses, Farmstead cheese, kefir, yogurt, whey, and colostrum are also available. Whole goat milk is an alternative to milk replacers for a variety of animals who do not have access to adequate dam milk (puppies, kittens, foals, etc.), and can also be given to adult pets as a supplement to a balanced diet. Their products are free of hormones and antibiotics, and come from a healthy, registered herd of dairy goats. The goats' primary diet is hay, forage, pasture grasses, and browse, with a small amount of grain during milking. Kailey Acres Farm offers fresh or frozen raw goat milk from their herd of Nigerian dwarf (and one La Mancha) dairy goats. Milk is always fresh and double filtered.
