Description
Lauer Farms is a pasture-based farm near Lagrange, OH, with a small Jersey dairy herd that grazes on fresh grass every day. Their milk is rich and contains high butterfat. The cream naturally rises to the top of the milk and can be skimmed off to make butter and ice cream. Initial investment of a herdshare is $75 (which is refundable if you decide to stop getting milk), with a maintenance cost of $30 per gallon per month. Feel free to text, call, or email Samuel Lauer (samueljosephlauer at gmail dot com) if you are interested and/or for more information.
