DGA registered Nubians since 2008. (They recently added a Jersey/Brown Swiss cow.) The animals have access to chemical-free pasture/browse 24/7. Locally grown non-GMO grain is fed on the milking stand. The does are hand milked twice daily and the milk is double strained and chilled in ice water to 40 degrees within minutes of milking. Whole and half herdshares are available. There is a one-time fee of $40 plus a monthly fee of $35 for boarding and husbandry. This entitles you to one gallon of raw milk to be picked up at the farm weekly. (If enough interest is shown, deliveries can be made to either Nashville or Franklin.) They also offer soft cheese and yogurt shares. They are located in Hickman County 11 miles from I-40. See other places where you can find products from this farm.
