The Milk Fam
They milk Guernsey cows that are certified a2a2. They focus on sustainable practices such as grass fed on bio diverse mountain meadows. In the winter they feed hay they put up themselves. The cows are offered organic kelp, medicinal organic herbs, magnesium bicarbonate, and white salt (to minimize iron overload). According to the farmer, “We have a small herd so each cow’s health and well being can be catered to, to give her the best life she can have.” They also have available homemade herbal salves, herbal tinctures, and fresh medicinal herbs.
For herdshare holders occasionally they have butter, kefir, yogurt, and other milk products.
