Frog Farm is a 10-acre homestead and herb farm using and promoting Permaculture practices. Animals include Alpine/Nubian milk goats, free-range chickens and ducks, rabbits, and livestock guardian dogs. In addition to pasture, animals are fed organic grains/feed, seaweed, comfrey, and other nutrient dense vegetation. Goat milk is $4/quart plus jar deposit. Call or come by to become familiar with farm store and available products, which change seasonally. Frog Farm hosts classes and workshops, a tool library, gleaning project, and seed swaps, provides nursery plants, wellness and farm design consultations, and more. Herd shares available from this Grade A licensed goat dairy. The raw milk is rapidly cooled after milking. Herd shares are $40 to buy in and $40 per month boarding fees. In exchange, herd share owners get one gallon of milk per week (4 gallons per month). Note that this dairy does also pasteurize milk, so be sure you are getting the raw milk.

Farmer's statement: "Why buy raw milk from a Grade A licensed goat dairy? We feel people deserve a choice and we give you one. Due to our state licensing our equipment is held to a very high standard for cleanliness and handling. Our raw milk is rapidly cooled after milking which keeps it fresh and eliminates any off flavors. We also offer cheese, fudge, and soap, as well as pasteurized milk if you decide to go that route."
