Description
Offering raw goat milk, yogurt, kefir, and chevre year-round via herd share, with pickup locations in Anchorage, Eagle River, and Palmer as well as at the farm. Starter cultures for kefir, yogurt, and kombucha are also available.
Goats are fed local grass hay, orchard grass, and alfalfa, supplemented with a no-corn/no-soy feed and organically derived sea kelp and minerals. The entire herd is tested annually, and is negative for CAE, CL, and Johne's. Lactating or food-producing animals are treated holistically, without antibiotics, growth hormones, or chemicals. Registered Alpine kids are available every year as future milking does and pack wethers, and milkers are for sale occasionally.
