Dancing Goat Dairy is a small non-profit urban family farm licensed in 2007 by the Florida Dept. of Agriculture (#Z001280) and is setting the standards in small production dairies in Florida. A premier dairy farm, member of Fresh From Florida and recognized around the state as a leader in raw milk production. They maintain a zoonotic disease free herd and use no vaccines, hormones or antibiotics on the goats - with the exception of tetanus antitoxin at disbudding or castration time. This ADGA registered herd is also regularly tested for disease and veterinary supervised. The farm works with vet assist programs, FFA students and a partnership facility for St. Petersburg College Veterinary Technology Program and Eckerd College. Antibiotics used only for lifesaving measures. Products sold are raw goat milk, kefir, yogurt and cheeses (chevre, feta, cottage cheese, curds, etc). They also distribute fresh A2 Jersey (primarily) cow milk from local Hammertime Hollow. Free-range chicken, duck, guinea, turkey, and quail eggs available (some seasonally). Per Florida law, all raw milk products and fresh unwashed eggs are sold for the intent of pet consumption only. Please do not ask to discuss the consumption of milk by humans and jeopardize the license. Bulk orders available on all goat products. They use only BPA-free dairy approved jugs. Also selling homemade goat milk soap in various scents. We no longer do off site markets but do stock several retail stores. A Farm Market is held at the farm on Wednesdays 3-7 pm and Sundays 1-4pm.
