A2/A2 Certified Jersey Milk with cream on top.
They feed organic dairy pellets, organic tree forage from their property, alfalfa plus some local oat hay (usually raised by El Cap FFA students). Their micro-farm follows biodynamic permaculture principles.
They machine milk as that's a nearly closed system and sanitize their milk machine after every milking. Milk is bottled in glass 1/2 gallon jars, plunged in an ice bath in a dedicated milk fridge. They calf-share until weaning the calf at six months.
Their cow eats fresh fruit as part of her milking treat each day depending upon what is in season (pomegranates, tangelos, oranges, pineapple guavas, mulberries, pumpkins) for micro-nutrients.
Centrally located on Mt. Helix near La Mesa in San Diego County.
