Fields Place Goats

Fields offers milk and cheeses from Nubian and Nigerian dairy goats. Goats are negative for CAE, (Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis), Johne's disease, Q fever, and toxoplasmosis. These and other tests are provided as needed. They raise their goats for dairy, show and pets. No products are offered for human consumption. Goats are fed perennial peanut hay, Tifton 44, grain mixture, black oil sunflower seeds, shredded beet pulp, and a variety of special minerals are offered free choice. They try to practice holistic medicine when possible. Milk sold in new dairy-approved gallon jugs only. Cheeses: chevre, cheddar and other varies as well - soft and hard.
