This veteran owned and operated micro-dairy and farmstead offers raw milk cow and goat herdshares for human consumption (with herdshare) and sells "pet milk" under a Tennessee Ag and Feed license.
They offer raw milk from disease-free animals who are tested regularly. See their web page for test results, which are well below raw milk standards. The animals are on pasture/alfalfa feed and get a non-GMO dairy ration that includes organic oats or grains, kelp, peas, and sunflower seeds.
There is a $25 fee to join the cow herd. Discounts for military and first responders. ***

Twin Springs Creamery is a grass-based local dairy, distributing milk in Greene, Lawrence, Monroe and Owen Counties.
Visit the on-farm honor refrigerator any day between 10 am - 6 pm. Honor fridges are located in the milk-house, the little room off the front of the barn.

Raw cow milk from Jersey cows that are primarily pasture-fed, with no hormones or antibiotics used. Requires being able to drive to the farms (1.5 hours south of Nashville, 1 hour south of Franklin) every 13-16 weeks on Thursday morning. Pick up and drop off is in Cool Springs near Whole Foods. The co-op has been established for over 10 years and is looking for new members. Milk is $3/gallon, eggs are $3/dozen, produce in the summer/fall seasons. All Jersey A2/A2 Milk - All milk is tested for E.Coli, Coliform, and Standard plate count prior to sale. They have a modern facility, with all clean in place stainless steel equipment. Milk never is exposed to the environment, so it is kept safe and clean. They only sell pre-bottled and labeled milk in new plastic gallon jugs. Cream sales may be coming soon. They are joining the Raw Milk Institute (RAWMI) for oversight accountability. On farm store open Monday through Saturday. They sell all grass fed beef from the original native Angus cattle.
