One of only a few British Guernsey Goat breeders in the U.S. They milk seasonally (March-November) so that their goats (and the farmer) get a little vacation once a year to rest and recoup. They strive to raise goats in the most natural and stress free environment possible. Goats are grass/browse fed with a small amount of grain mixed with alfalfa fed on the stand during milking. They do not vaccinate, or use pharmaceuticals of any kind unless the animal is in imminent danger of death. They focus on maintaining top level nutrition, and rotational grazing, which effectively prevents most health issues. Mini-Pleasures tests their herd annually for CAE and Johnnes. They offer raw goat milk, labeled and sold for pet consumption in accordance with Georgia law. Milk is available for $7/half-gallon with a $2 deposit for the glass jar and lid. You may also choose to provide your own containers, which saves you the deposit charge. Milk is available Monday thru Friday 9 am - 4 pm and Sunday 1 pm - 4 pm; closed Saturday.
