The herd is 100 percent pasture fed, receives no vaccinations, and is TB tested. Breeds include Jersey, Normandy, Milking Shorthorn and Ayrshire. The herd has been closed since 2000, with new bulls brought in every other year. They offer milk ($12/gallon; must be picked up at the farm), cream ($10/qt), vegetable CSA, and open-pollinated/heirloom vegetable seed. "Family owned and operated. Our dairy herd consists of LaManchas, Nigerian Dwarfs and Alpine-Nubian cross. Our goats are fed our own grass hay and legume mix that has not been sprayed. Raw milk from Nubian dairy goats starting early April annually. Naturally-raised alfalfa hay fed during winter months and as a supplement to the goats' browsing and grazing during the months they are in milk. In the warm months the goats graze on pasture with high levels of water-soluble carbohydrates from perennial ryegrass, timothy, and ladino clover.
