Purchasing a herdshare means that you legally own a portion of the dairy herd and participate in both the costs and benefits of that ownership. Each share includes an initial share investment and requires a monthly fee for the maintenance, keeping, feeding, milking, and care of your cow.
For your investment in the herd, you are also entitled to the benefits: raw milk, access to other dairy products, and other farm products depending on share type purchased.
