This goes hand in hand with sustainable farming practices including rotational grazing and focusing on a no corn no soy diet. The Jersey, Ayrshire, and Holstein cows and the goats graze pasture, get coastal and alfalfa hay, and are supplemented with antibiotic-free, steroid-free grain. Non-GMO grain is used when available, with considerations to organic best practices. No hormones, antibiotics, or steroids are used. Products available daily include: raw cow milk, raw goat milk, cream, goat/cow kefir, farm-raised eggs, kombucha, a variety of artisan cheeses, grassfed beef and goat, naturally-raised chicken, plain cow yogurt, drinkable cow and goat yogurt, raw honey produced at the farm, natural unsalted butter, and seasonal products. Raw goat milk seasonally available via herdshares. The goats are pasture raised, ipm and supplemented with grain while in milk. Mixed herd of dairy and meat goats. Facebook: camelothills. They breed show and production quality Alpine and Nubian dairy goats. They produce their own feed and manage rotational pastures with controlled plantings alongside wild forage and browse. Maintenance of herd health is of utmost importance with minimal use of chemicals, however it is sometimes necessary. No milk is retained or sold from any doe that has been treated with any chemical. Fresh and frozen milk is available mostly year-round. Milk is sold by the gallon and can be sold by schedule. Bulk quantities available upon advance notice.
