Lifelong Raw Milk Drinker “Would Never Touch that Pasteurized Stuff”September 4, 2013
Wisconsin Action AlertSeptember 10, 2013
Will you be in the Indiana area on September 14, 2013? You’re invited to Farm Fest, an event full of fun for the whole family and featuring hay rides, straw mazes, a petting zoo and a farm-fresh lunch overlooking the picturesque rolling fields of the Seven Sons Family Farm.
The pasture farm raises beef, pork, chickens and eggs. One of the farm owners, Blaine Hitzfield, expressed his hopes that the festival will help raise funds for Mark Baker, a Michigan farmer currently battling his state over his right to raise pigs outdoors on pasture. Mark Baker will be speaking at the event, as will Kimberly Hartke. Kimberly Hartke is a publicist for the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund, which is committed to protecting the rights of farmers and consumers who wish to engage in direct sales. The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund is covering the legal fees of Mark Baker.
