Small family farm in Parker, Elbert County, CO offering raw A2 cow milk and farm fresh eggs. All animals are on soy free diets.
They have Brown Swiss cows who are fed a pasture-based diet of free-choice locally grown mixed grass hay, alfalfa hay, and a small grain snack with sunflower pellets when they are milked. Milk is available thru Herdshare, depending on availability.
Their chickens free range as much as possible but they do have predator issues so they are sometimes penned. They receive an omega supplement and the farmers treat typical chicken needs with herbal and natural supplements. Eggs are available on a first come, first served basis.

Use of the holistic management model, short-duration, high-intensity grazing followed by long recovery times for the plants is proving to improve degraded landscapes, build soil, and sequester carbon. Plum Feather Farm is a small, family run raw milk dairy located conveniently between Colorado Springs and Denver in Elbert, Colorado. All of their cows are A2/A2, fed orchard hay, organic grain and graze on untreated pastures.
They offer herd shares (membership) in half share increments. A half share is equal to a half gallon a week.
They deliver to several pickup locations in Colorado Springs, Black Forest, Fountain, Parker, Castle Rock, Elizabeth, Woodland Park and of course, farm pickup in Elbert is always an option!
