At Sustainable Settings Ranch they milk 15 cows from a biodynamic A2/A2 100 percent grassfed on-rotation herd of 35 Guernsey-Jersey cattle. They offer cowshares for 100 or so families within 35 miles and provide dairy beef, lamb, pork, poultry, vegetable CSA, eggs, and medical herbs to the region. All ruminants are on no till mountain meadow pasture consisting of diversified grasses, legumes and broad leafs. They graze in rotation on paddock in a management intensive grazing system on 90-acres of high altitude irrigated pastures and are fed hay from the same ground in winter. All livestock are offered free choice certified organic minerals. Cows have horns there. This is a customer-inspected, raw biodynamic operation and uses no chemicals or pharmaceuticals.
