Raw pet milk from a growing herd of Jersey cows.
Farmer statement: "Our passion is regenerative agriculture and permaculture methods and we love providing our customers with the best tasting products that center around a pasture based (grass fed) environment. On our farm, we believe that animals should work in concert with us to help improve the land and improve the health of humans who eat the animals raised on that land. Whether that’s our pigs helping us turn formerly wooded areas into pasture, having our egg layers clean up after our cows, or having our dairy and beef cows turn old worn-out crop land into lush pastures naturally, our animals are at the center of all we do.
We currently offer raw pet milk, pastured chickens (processed on our farm), seasonal turkeys, pasture raised eggs, and soon pasture/woodlot pork (Idaho Pasture Pigs) as well as grass fed and grass finished beef. All of our animals are free from antibiotics, hormones, and we use locally sourced non-GMO feeds. We use no herbicides or pesticides on our pastures and we only use natural sources of fertilizer.
We’d love to have you visit us as www.raisedrightfarmstead.com, contact us directly at raisedrightfarmstead@gmail.com, or you can call us at 252-495-0029. We do centralized drop offs in a number of cities in Eastern NC and our locations and delivery schedules are always available on our website. Come and taste the difference that natural pasture based systems make in our products."

Raw milk from Jersey cows.
Farmer statement: "Welcome to Rare Life Farm — Where Your Milk Has a Name
At Rare Life Farm, we do things the old-fashioned way because the old ways work. Nestled in the heart of Silk Hope, North Carolina, our family-run farm produces rich, raw, real milk from pasture-raised Jersey cows you can meet by name.
We believe your food should come with a face, not a factory label. That’s why we offer herd shares — a way for families like yours to reconnect with your food, your farmers, and the land. Our milk is unprocessed, unpasteurized, and unmatched in taste and nutrition.
This isn’t store-bought. This is slow food for a fast world. It’s morning milking before sunrise. It’s kids barefoot in the pasture. It’s cows on grass, not corn. It’s the way your great-grandparents used to drink milk — and it’s legal, local, and ready for your table.
Join the Rare Life. Come taste the difference.”
