We sell organic grassfed A2 raw Jersey milk from our family farm. Our cows are on pasture year around and in winter we supplement with hay and alfalfa. Our raw milk is filtered, chilled, and bottled, and ready for pickup on site, or in Castle Rock where we do a Monday drop off.

They produce A2/A2 and standard raw milk, and breeding stock for herdshares and those wishing to have their own milk cow. In order to be sustainable, they utilize management intensive grazing to utilize all grass and give the necessary rest. Hay and stockpiled grass is fed during the winter months; cows receive no grain - they are a grass-only farm. The focus is on healthy animals and pasture (no antibiotics/hormones). Vaccination: Bangs only (required for shipping animals). Prices: seasonal herdshare program (milk available April – Nov.): $50/share buy-in; jar deposit: $10. Monthly board for standard cowshare: $45. Monthly board for A2/A2 cowshare: $55. Half shares also available (one Share = 1 gallon milk/week). Engebretsen Dairy Goats is home to Alpine, Nubian, and Saanen dairy goats. Their small herd of goats are kept on a mixture of native browse and alfalfa hay. Goat herdshares can be picked up at the farm, but delivery to Florence, Canon City, and Colorado Springs is available. Herdshare members always welcome to visit the farm by appointment. Interested parties please call to schedule a tour. Herdshares are limited so that members receive milk throughout the calendar year. $40 buy-in (one time), $40/month board entitles herdshare member to one gallon of milk per week. Shares are $20 (one time fee).

Monthly maintenance fee to care for and milk your share of the herd is $60 for a gallon per week and $40 for a half gallon per week.
