The Family Cow offers organically grass-fed, raw dairy products from Jersey cows, including raw milk, butter, cream, cheese, and kefir. They also offer many other foods, all of which are free of chemicals, antibiotics, and soy. Animals are humanely raised and truly pastured. This includes 100% grass-fed beef, pastured chicken and eggs, pastured pork, wild-caught salmon, kombucha, homemade bread, raw honey, and more. Food is delivered to 55 pickup locations across Pennsylvania. Order for your nearest location online and the foods will be delivered each week at most places and bi-weekly at others. Home delivery via UPS is also available nationwide for all these specialty foods except raw milk due to legal challenges. Farmer statement:
"Cedar Cove Farm is an Amish family dairy owned by John and Barbara Stoltzfus. We’ve been raising cows for generations, and our entire herd is DNA-tested 100% A2/A2 (every cow, not just some).
Our cows eat chemical-free Western Timothy hay, quality grains, and a custom mineral mix. We chose to be licensed by the state of Pennsylvania for raw milk for human consumption. That means regular in-person state inspections and bacteria testing twice a month.
Products: raw milk and cream, butter, cultured dairy, and fresh and aged cheeses. All raw, all from our own herd."
