"Healing Haven Farm is state certified to sell local raw pet milk in the state of Maryland, our farms are located in St. Leonard and Prince Frederick, with pick up locations in other areas like California, MD, as well as North Beach MD.. As a farm the most important thing to us is our animals happiness and well being, and because of this we keep a very small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats and two A2/A2 Jerseys. We try our best to keep milk in stock for most of the year. We feel that by keeping smaller herds we can provide our animals with the absolute best care. All animals enjoy pasture grazing and hay with a small amount of local non GMO grain at milking time. We feel so grateful to be able to provide such an amazing product to our local community. Farmer statement:
"The Farm at Thorne Gut is a raw milk micro dairy licensed in the state of Maryland. All raw milk legally sold in Maryland is labeled as pet milk.
We maintain a small herd of grass and alfalfa fed Jersey cows. Our cows also receive black oil sunflower seeds and whole oats. No corn or soy.
We machine milk and have a four stage, dairy approved, cleaning and sanitation process.
Calves are raised by their moms and we practice calf sharing as the calves grow. This reduces our milk output but makes for happier and healthier cows and calves.
Our milk is full fat with the cream on top..
We also breed ADGA Plus Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats

The Farm at Thorne Gut is a seasonal vendor at the La Plata Farmers market which runs from April through November, every Saturday, from 9am to 2pm. The Market is located in the parking lot of the La Plata courthouse.
