Oct 2022 UPDATE: This farm is looking for someone to lease and take over the farm as the farmer can no longer milk for health reasons. Meanwhile, when you call to ask about raw milk they will direct you to their Amish friends who do non-GMO,  chemical- and synthetic-free milk products.

Farm raises Jersey/Guernsey, Holstein, Brown Swiss cross milk cows; Nubian, Alpine cross milk goats; Yorkshire cross pigs; and free-range chicken (eggs available too). All grain used is non-GMO. They free-feed sea kelp and have it included with their feed mixture; no synthetic mineral or vitamins are added. Cowshares, goatshares, and meats for sale at the farm or drop off. Farm store hours are 10 am - 6 pm (no Sunday sales), or by appointment. They also offer classes in backyard beekeeping and goat/cow milk soap making. Tours are available and they encourage visits by school classes. The farm also raises Certified Naturally Grown (naturallygrown.org) heirloom vegetables and this year will be growing fresh vegetables year around. You can buy their fresh vegetables at the Cadillac Farmers Market on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Raw milk herdshares from 100 percent grassfed cows. Mobile milker milks the cows right in the field. No chemicals, wormers, or hormones are used. Goatshares are available from 100 percent pastured animals. The farm also offers 100 percent grassfed Angus beef, and 100 percent grassfed lamb. Pork and eggs planned. ADGA Nubian and Oberhasli Goats. 16 percent dairy grain, alfalfa/grass hay and pasture grazing. Delaware, Australorp and Barred Plymouth Rock hens free-range with layer crumble added in the evening. Goatshares giving half gallon to one gallon of milk/week from April to October/November. Large brown eggs $2.50/doz. Available for pick up evenings but call first.
