Hand milked, filtered during milking and straight into half gallon Ball jars, cooled right away. No goaty flavor. Must supply a jar/s, or pay jar/s deposit, per half gallon. Grassfed Guernsey and Jersey cows, lamb, goats, and chickens. Providing raw milk and dairy products, eggs, grassfed halal beef, lamb and goat meat. SlakMarket Farm uses organic halal practice, methods, and management to humanely raise animals. With the belief that animals have rights concerning their care and welfare at every step and stage of their lives. It is the management's intention to provide the farm herd with this quality of life, as well as provide a healthier product to the herdshare members. The animals are raised on grass pasture and given hay in the barn during winter months. If and when grass is not available they receive some supplement of certified organic, soy free, corn free, grain. Cows are given a small ration of certified organic, corn free, soy free grain at milking time along with home grown fodder and minerals. They love to welcome new members.
