Echolight raises a disease-free tested herd of ADGA American Alpine dairy goats and a flock of purebred Wyandotte chickens. Milking is performed using a closed milking machine system, and monthly mastitis tests are performed to ensure quality. No vaccines, antibiotics, or chemicals are used in their livestock. Herdshare fees are $35/month for approximately one gallon of milk each week; half and quarter shares are also available. Scheduled tours are welcome and encouraged. Herdshare drop-off locations to Escanaba, Iron Mountain, Manistique, and Marquette may be available.
