They have a micro-dairy milking a small Jersey herd. Herd is on mainly silvopasture with open pasture available, high-quality alfalfa hay and fresh water available at all times. If a cow needs grain to gain weight, it is soaked, sprouted and fermented first. Cows are never enclosed unless they choose to rest in the barn by the fan during times of high heat. Cows are milked twice daily using a closed milking system. Chrissy Jensen is the creator of My Dairy Fairy: Udder Magic which is an essential oil and plant oil based antibiotic-free product for dairy cows. They utilize this antibiotic-free method of supporting their cows' immune systems in lieu of traditional practices. Products available (through herdshare) milk, yogurt, cultured cottage cheese, dulce de leche and possibly cheeses. Tours twice yearly for herd share members at a family picnic. During hand milking the does are fed whole oats and barley, organic kelp and brewer's yeast. They use herbal dewormers, no chemicals or antibiotics used. This small family farm offers herdshares in Dutch Belted cattle (and a Jersey) from which you can get your own fresh raw milk, as well as grass-finished beef.
All cattle on their ranch have a forage-only diet, with the exception that lactating cattle are supplemented with a small amount of oats and sunflower seeds.
Their current milk cow is a Jersey. She gives clean, sweet, creamy milk, and all cattle on their farm are extensively disease tested, and they have a firm commitment to cleanliness.

Note that due to repeated no-shows and non-payment, and in order to continue to operate, the farm is forced to require the buy-in and first three months to be paid up front.
They are currently breeding their herd of Dutch Belted A2/A2 heifers and expect to have them in production within a year. Current share holders will be the first to get this special milk.
