Firstfruits Farm is located half-way between Crystal Falls and Iron Mountain in the Upper Peninsula and offers herdshare contracts for fresh raw goat milk. Milk is picked up at the farm. They raise Heritage Breed Swiss Oberhasli dairy goats on pasture and organic hay. The goats receive their own formulated grain mix on the milk stand. All milk is chilled and stored in glass until ready for pick-up when it is placed into new plastic gallon milk jugs for ease of transport. They welcome tours and visits to ensure healthy animals who produce a safe healthy product. Amount of milk received by herdshare participants is commensurate to the herd's production.
