Facebook: hammertimehollow. HammerTime Hollow is a small family run farm in Town n Country raising dairy cattle and New Zealand rabbits for show and consumption. Just 10 minutes from Tampa airport. Milk and other dairy products come from predominantly registered Jersey cows. Cows are fed a dairy ration (grain) twice a day, perennial peanut hay, and have free access to Tifton hay and eight acres of pasture and wetlands. Due to the cattle also being 4-H projects and thus traveling at times, they are vet checked twice a year and given annual vaccinations. Products include fluid milk in quarts, half gallons and gallons, cream, butter, farmhouse cheese, whey, and buttermilk. Products other than fluid milk are available on a limited basis. $10/gallon, $6/half gallon, and $4/quart. Milk can also be put into glass jars upon request for a small initial deposit. (just North of Citrus Park Mall in the heart of Carollwood), phone: 727-637-1549 (8:00 am – 9:30 pm only please) Happy Tails Farm is a family run farm license #4234 as of 2017 by Fresh From Florida program and Department of Agriculture. They are a sustainable run farm with pasture-raised Nubian and Alpine goats, chickens and other poultry. They do not use any antibiotics or hormones with their stock and their feed comes from one of the oldest feed mills in the state that fresh grinds the feed and contains no soy. The herd is registered with the AGDA and are CAE free as well as regularly tested for disease. Products include raw goat milk, kefir, yogurt and a variety of cheeses, including chevre, feta, ricotta, Roquefort, curds, etc. They also have available for sale raw cow milk from a partnering dairy. The farm also offers pasture-raised chickens, turkeys, and Peking ducks. They have a limited amount of eggs available. Per Florida law, all raw milk products and fresh unwashed eggs are sold for pet consumption only. Do not ask to encourage human consumption of products as it could jeopardize licensing with the state. Products are sold in new BPA-free jugs. This small farm in rural Live Oak offers raw A2/A2 Jersey milk. Millie grazes with the farm's beef herd on 25 acres of bahia pasture, overseeded with appropriate seasonal annuals like winter rye, millet, sorghum sudan grass, sunn hemp, etc. She also receives a small amount of non-GMO soy-free feed custom milled by the Amish in Pennsylvania. She is antibiotic free and receives no hormones.
