The cow herd is made up of Jersey cows. The small goat herd is made up of Lamancha, Alpine, Nigerian Dwarf, Mini Alpine and Mini Lamanchas. In addition to the above listed feed, the goat herd gets a guided tour through the forest, weather permitting, where they can choose what fresh greens they need in their diet that day.

Lengacher Family Farm has raw milk from registered Brown Swiss cows available through a cowshare program. The Brown Swiss cow herd is pasture/grazed (weather permitting) or on forages grown in the farm's own pesticide and herbicide-free soil and receive absolutely no supplements. The herd does receive some (non-GMO) corn silage in the winter months. Cow milk is available year-round. Farm visits are encouraged and regular tours are offered. Pick up is at the farm. Meadow Haven Farm is a small family farm located in southeastern PA. They produce and sell 100 percent grassfed, chemical free milk, beef, lamb, and goat, as well as pasture raised, soy free, organic chicken and eggs. They also have produce in season.
They sell bottled milk in gallon and half gallon jugs. You can save a couple dollars a gallon if you bring your own gallon container to fill. It is best to call or text before you come to make sure there is have milk. (The milk tank is emptied out every other day)
