AK Mountain View Family Farm provides raw cow’s milk through a private herdshare program to their local community in Fairbanks and surrounding areas. Cows are fed hay and supplemental grains.

Farmer's statement: "Our farm is family-owned and operated, and our animals are cared for with integrity, transparency, and love—365 days a year, even through Alaska’s toughest winters.

"Our cows are raised in low-stress conditions with plenty of fresh air, clean bedding, and daily hands-on care. They are fed a carefully balanced, high-quality diet that includes premium hay and supplemental grains as needed for optimal health and milk quality. Animal wellness is a top priority, and we follow strict sanitation practices in our milking process to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Our milk is lab tested to ensure safety."

"We began as a result of the family’s pursuit for high quality food directly from the farmer/producer. We have assembled an array of foods from various local providers which include organic, grass fed beef, pork, pastured chickens, pastured eggs, raw milk, cream, and other raw dairy products. Raw honey and bee pollen is also available as well as organic produce in the summer months, all from local, independent, organic farmers. We offer fresh baked sourdough breads, english muffins and bagels. We provide these foods fresh on a weekly basis Wednesdays and Thursdays. Locations: Frankfort, Homer Glen, Winfield, South Barrington, Glenview and Lake Zurich. We continue to welcome new families to the cooperative and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Our mama dairy cows rotate from paddock to paddock consuming all the varieties of new grass we seed. We supplement based on their nutritionist's advice.

"George Farms expands our customers' palates with other high-quality products like Berkshire/Mangalitsa/Mulefoot pork, prime choice beef, and free-range eggs. Our piggies mainly have an A2 milk-based diet. This enriches the meat throughout--it will melt in your mouth. Our beef cows primarily eat a grass-fed diet. They grew up on our A2 milk, which we found incorporates much like our pork if you start them early enough. Our chickens run wild on our 112-acre farm. They get a healthy diet of grass, bugs, sweet corn, flax and--you guessed it--A2 milk! Our eggs are known for high in Omega 3s.
