Children are told to drink their milk because it will help them grow and make their bones strong. National advertising campaigns like “Milk Does the Body Good” and “Got Milk?” tout the benefits of milk. Yet more and more people are developing dairy allergies and turning to alternative milks like soy, almond and coconut. Could it be that the root of the problem isn’t milk itself, but that the milk sold in grocery stores is laden with chemicals and altered through pasteurization and homogenization?
