TED Exposed as Proponent of GMOs
October 20, 2013Meet the Tiniest Dairy Cow in the World! Vechur Cattle
October 24, 2013Children are told to drink their milk because it will help them grow and make their bones strong. National advertising campaigns like “Milk Does the Body Good” and “Got Milk?” tout the benefits of milk. Yet more and more people are developing dairy allergies and turning to alternative milks like soy, almond and coconut. Could it be that the root of the problem isn’t milk itself, but that the milk sold in grocery stores is laden with chemicals and altered through pasteurization and homogenization?
In an informative and compelling podcast, Mark McAfee, CEO and Founder of Organic Pastures, the largest raw milk dairy in the United States, shares the health benefits of raw milk and explains how the history of dairy farming and corporate greed have shaped the milk options available to us today.
McAfee also examines the role that large dairy conglomerates, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) play in limiting consumer choice and why demonizing raw milk is in their corporate interests.

I drank raw milk as a child when visiting my grandmother’s farm. I never got sick. I kindergarten we were served raw milk everyday.
It’s sad when people are deprived of this healthy milk due to the greed of corporations, politicians, and government agencies that are supposed to protect it’s citizens.
