Each half gallon of milk will be $4, plus $2 for the jar deposit on your first purchase. When you’re ready for more milk, return the cleaned jar and your next purchase is only $4/half gallon with NO deposit. Or if you’ve decided you don’t want to purchase again, simply return the cleaned jar and you will get your $2 per jar deposit back.
The cows are on 24/7 access to fresh pasture and hay, loose mineral, and they get a scoop of a feed each day in the stanchion at milking time.
They aim for “mostly” grassfed, but cows do require a bit of supplemental feed-especially when in milk when their bodies are putting so much more energy into producing milk instead of their own condition.
*Due to Oklahoma law, raw milk must be picked up at the farm and cannot be delivered. Conveniently located right off of Highway 177 & Highway 59B in Macomb, OK.

Hayes Valley Farms is a family owned and operated farm. Their main focus is on producing 100% organic raw dairy. They offer A2/A2 raw milk (unpasteurized, non-homogenized) from pasture-raised cows. They also offer pasture-raised beef, rabbit, poultry, duck, and eggs.
Farmer's statement: "We focus on the overall health and happiness of our cows by only milking once a day. We don't believe in separating calves from their mothers. The only time calves are separated is when the cows are being milked, then they are reunited with their moms. Our cows live on lush green pastures 100%, are never kept in barns, unless they choose to."

Farmer's statement:
"Heritage Farms provides the freshest, most nutritious, sweet, butter yellow raw milk. You just can't match the taste and quality anywhere. We believe that to produce safe, high quality, nutritious milk you must focus on four objectives:
"1. HEALTH: This starts with the quality of the cow. Each of our Jerseys is registered and A2/A2. When they first come to the farm, blood work is immediately done to assure a clean bill of health. Each cow is immediately started on our high quality minerals and nutrition program.
"2. SANITATION: Bacteria is the greatest risk when harvesting raw milk for consumption. We strive for a clean environment for our cows. Because flies are the culprit for spreading disease and infection, our stalls are cleaned daily and cows are sprayed daily with organic fly spray as needed. Our milking equipment is cleaned and sterilized after each use. The cow's udder is prepped with antibacterial dip before and after milking to prevent mastitis. Hands are washed before and after harvesting. To prevent cross-contamination, we do not mix milk from different cows. Every drop of milk from each cow is dated and identified from which cow it was harvested to track the health of each cow.
"3. MINERALS: Just because milk tastes good doesn't mean it's nutritious. To achieve the greatest healing power of raw milk, minerals are the key. Our Jersey cows are put on the highest quality macro/micro minerals.
"4. TASTE: Taste has to do with what the cow eats. Our cows are grass fed and supplemented with organic alfalfa and fescue hay for the best tasting milk possible."

Farmer statement:
"Here at Hillside Acres, it was never our intent to sell to the public. Instead, we wanted to meet our own raw dairy needs and those within our local community. Just like our own experience before we had our little micro-herd, once you try raw milk, it's impossible to go back.
We want to share that bounty and experience with you! Our girls are currently working hard to improve our pasture here on our little farm and are rewarded with alfalfa pellets, oats, and barely at milking time. Outside of that time, you will see them turning that grass into raw milk.
We sell in plastic jugs and offer glass with a deposit and a rotating exchange of clean (sterilized) jars with your name on them. We accept cash and PayPal currently for on farm pick-up.
If you are interested in organizing a herdshare for a local drop-off point, please reach out to Mara with questions."
